laser treatments
Pigmentation, redness and vascular treatments
Every patient’s skin is unique, which is why there is no single laser that is suitable for every type of pigmentation or redness. During your consultation, we will assess your skin concerns using a detailed medical consultation and OBSERV® 520x skin analysis, allowing us to determine the type, depth and cause of your concern.
Rather than offering a single laser treatment, we create a personalised treatment plan using the most appropriate technology for your skin type and colour. This may include one or a combination of
585 nm IPL, 650 nm IPL and long-pulsed Nd:YAG laser, carefully selected to target your individual condition. Different wavelengths are more effective for different types of pigmentation, diffuse redness, broken capillaries and vascular lesions, and combining technologies often achieves the safest and most effective outcome.
Consultation & Patch Test: £50
Your first step is a consultation and patch test, which must be completed at least 7 days before your first treatment. During this appointment, we will assess your skin, discuss your concerns, determine the most appropriate laser or combination of lasers for your condition, and perform a patch test on a small area of skin.
The consultation fee is fully redeemable against your treatment course.
How many sessions will I need?
Most pigmentation and vascular concerns respond best to a course of three treatments, although the exact number of sessions depends on the type, depth and extent of the lesion. Some superficial concerns may improve more quickly, whilst deeper or more extensive pigmentation and vascular conditions may require additional sessions to achieve the desired result.
Single lesion
One isolated sun spot, age spot or individual broken vessel.
Small area
A localised area of diffuse redness or pigmentation, approximately up to 5 × 5 cm (for example part of the nose, chin or a small cheek patch).
Medium area
A larger cosmetic unit, approximately up to 10 × 10 cm (for example both cheeks, forehead, or a larger area of pigmentation/redness).
Large area
One full treatment region, such as the full face, neck, chest (décolletage), or both hands.
Extra-large area
Multiple large regions treated in the same session, for example:
* Face + neck
* Face + neck + chest
* Large body areas such as forearms, back or lower legs.
